Well, the comment spam has started to arrive (I’m one to talk 🙂 so I’m afraid I have had to turn moderation on. Sorry.
I don’t know if blogger has the equivalent of AKISMET (plugin for wordpress) – If it doesn’t, move to wordpress.
I installed Akismet about 5 or 6 months ago – Since then it has caught all but a handful of spam comments.
17,047 comments to be precise.
